We stayed one night to enable us to visit Swansea University with our Grandson the next morning. The accommodation was very good and right on the seafront. The village had pubs with eating within walking distance and we enjoyed a walk along the beach after. Would definitely recommend this to everyone

Easter 2015
We arrived Saturday afternoon, weather was beautiful so the resort was buzzing! Was greeted by the receptionist who was lovely! Really polite & helpful! we had Room 8! (Sleeps 4 with balcony overlooking trecco bay caravan park) It was beautiful new crisp clean and very spacious! It was as you would expect for a lovely seaside B&B with character! We stayed until Monday so had breakfast twice which was included in the price, it was beautiful you had good choice it was decent well cooked food only criticism was the waitress on the Sunday! It was busy, she seemed under pressure & therefore came across a bit short & rude! She did however manage to crack a smile when the other waitresses turned up to help her! Overall thou had a really lovely few days, would highly recommend & will go again :)

Quite a \'find.\'
This was our first visit to Porthcawl and we are delighted to have discovered this little gem of a resort. Loved the various beaches giving walks galore. Our doggie was as welcome at Blueseas as we were. Very comfy bed and super tasty breakfast served on an enormous plate. Dare not ask how much you would pay at Heathrow Airport!!!

A Woman and her dog
What a lovely B & B. Firstly, I could take my pooch with me - surprise - and secondly it exceeded all my expectations. Room was clean and welcoming, en suite shower room was superb, in room facilities were excellent and the cafe served good food. The lovely bonus with this B & B is that there is a \'kitchen\' near the rooms where one can make tea/coffee etc, heat up a meal, store any produce in the fridge and good washing up facilities. Needless to say it will be my place to go in future. Can\'t wait for my next visit! Paula and Robin were a lovely caring couple and the staff all round were friendly, helpful and gracious. What a pleasure in these turbulent times.

Seaside confortable accommodation
We booked The Blue Seas as our base for a trip to the golf at nearby Royal Porthcawl Golf Club. Our hosts were most welcoming and the 2 bedroom chalet was spacious and comfortable with lounge and small kitchen. Overlooking the beach and walking distance to the pleasure park and a little further into the town we had a very enjoyable stay. Good value all around

Very welcoming homely people, all the staff were friendly always greet you with a smile.Anything you need you only have to ask and it will be sorted for you.I came with my 14yr old son,we had room 12 with en suite, room was ample size brightly decorated with partial sea view,it was calming at night listening to the waves as we drifted of to sleep.Fresh clean sheet's and lovely white fluffy towels were waiting on our arrival.Tea/coffee/cream/milk and sugar and even complimentary biscuits also cute mini shower gels and soaps were waiting in our room. The en suite was ample size and the shower was more than good (wish mine at home was as good) plenty of storage space for all your clothes and spare bit's plenty of pillows and spare quilts in wardrobes for those who might feel the chill. You can come and go as you please day and night. lovely dining area lovely dining staff, very friendly cleaning lady and the couple who run it are lovely so overall experience was very good and to top it off beautiful location, what's not to like!!

Filled our needs 100%
I needed a dog friendly B&B at short notice so booked a night at Blue Seas. Didn't get to meet the owner Paula due to my late checkin and early check out but spoke to her on the phone a couple of times and she made sure I had everything I needed. The location was brilliant. Right across from the beach. The room was lovely, very clean. No bathroom on mine but there were washing facilities in the room and showers gels, soaps etc all provided. There were leaflets all over the room with details of check out times, wifi codes (free) etc. The only info I couldn't find was what time breakfast was served and also where. Not a criticism, just a suggestion that it would be a good idea to put that in the rooms also as it's a critical pat of B & B. Breakfast was fantastic! I went for the full English which has every conceivable element on it and set me up for the day ahead. All in all it was a great place to stay and I would definately come back with my dog should I need to stay in Porthcawl again.

A little gem
I was on business, but traveling with my 2 small dogs, and needed somewhere which suited us all. This was certainly it ! A warm welcome awaited me when I finally made it through the M4 roadworks and Robin, the owner, helped with luggage and made me feel thoroughly at home. Across the road a fabulous beach provided a lovely evening walk for us all ! My room was great, everything you could want, new en suite, all very comfortable. Breakfast was freshly cooked and though I did not use the cafe at the front of the Guesthouse, the menu and surroundings looked very nice. I have already told colleagues about this and am planning to visit again - this time for longer since it makes an ideal base for south Wales.

hidden gem!
3 nights stay at the Blue Seas was a pleasure - the welcome & staff were first rate, the room & furnishings were excellent & with cleaning daily this ensured it didn't become a 'sand pit'. The location could not have been better plus we were blessed with good weather enabling us to enjoy the beach with our dog. Truly a hidden gem which I am reluctant to promote as would hate to see it spoilt but hope to return soon. The pubs were amazing too & all 3 take dogs in the bar! 5* destination if you are looking to get away from it all.

A relaxing break
I stayed at Blue seas with my small dog Susie for a 3 night break from 12 September. The welcome was warm and the atmosphere of the place was most pleasant. The staff were some of the friendliest we have met in out frequent travels. Nothing was too much trouble and there were frequent checks that everything was to our satisfaction. The owners were certainly concerned about their guests welfare. We shall certainly return. The position of the B&B on the sea front road, that is not a through route, meant that there was no traffic noise, The sound of the waves and the comfortable bed made a full night's sleep a regular possibility.
